What Is Collected
This is a static website served as plain HTML and CSS. The only personal data processed in normal operation is what a web server necessarily records when it answers a request, and what you voluntarily send by email.
Server logs
The hosting provider records standard access log entries, which typically include the IP address making the request, the date and time, the URL requested, the HTTP status code, the referring URL where the browser sends one, and the user-agent string. These logs exist to operate and secure the service and to diagnose faults. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not combined with any other data set, and are not sold, shared or transferred for marketing purposes.
If you email hello@aeokingvithurs.com, the message and your email address are processed in order to reply. Messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with the correspondence and any follow-up. Please do not send sensitive personal data by email; nothing this site does requires it.
Legal Basis Under UK GDPR
The processing described above is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR: operating and securing a website, and responding to correspondence a person has chosen to send. No consent banner is shown because no cookies or similar technologies are set that would require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
Data Controller

Your Rights

Retention
Hosting access logs are retained for the period set by the hosting provider for operational and security purposes, typically a short rolling window measured in weeks rather than years. Email correspondence is retained only as long as it is needed to deal with the matter raised.
Processors and International Transfers
The site is served by a third-party static hosting provider acting as a processor. That provider operates a global content delivery network, so a request may be served from, and logged in, a data centre outside the United Kingdom. No personal data is transferred for any purpose beyond delivering the page you asked for and keeping the service running.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal data from them.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date. The current effective date is 7 September 2026. Because the site collects so little, material changes are unlikely; any that occur will be described rather than silently applied.
